Patricia Hunnicutt Cook was the heart of our home and family. She was married for 68 years to the love of her life, Bobby. She raised four children, Phil (Jill), Mark (Cindy), Scott (Kaye), and Lisa (Brett), in a happy and loving home. As a grandmother to Todd (Faith), Zack (Whitli), Casey (Trish), Adam (Sydney), Emily (Ross), Ashton (Corey), Ally (Austin), Brian (Candie), Brandi (Jonathan), Bree, Jonathan, and Jordan. She loved taking them on outings and hosting them each summer for all kinds of activities and family time. She also loved being a great-grandmother to Daisy, Raeleigh, Jackson, Eli, Camden, Carter, Baylor, Stella, Johnny, Landon, Lucas, Kaleigh, Karleigh, Kenzleigh, Gage, Radford, and Silas.

Patricia was a godly woman who prayed for her family and was active in her church, Eastwood Baptist Church. Not only did she enjoy welcoming her grandchildren, she was a wonderful host who made everyone feel welcome in her home. She encouraged others, and her friends and family often received cards from her, letting us know that she was thinking of us and praying for us. She shared that same care and affection with the kindergarten children she taught at Green Acres Baptist Church.  She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed.

Services will be held at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA 30066, on Saturday, March 29, at 4:00, with visitation from 2:00 to 4:00. Burial will take place at a later date at The National Cemetery with immediate family.
