Rachel Elizabeth Vielmas, 40, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022.

Rachel was born in Springfield, Missouri to Ricardo and Connie Vielmas. She was a detention and deportation officer/ supervisor with the Department of Homeland Security for fifteen years. Five of those years were spent with border patrol, and ten years were spent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Outside of work, Rachel loved her family, traveling, and organizing get-togethers.

Rachel is survived by her parents; Ricardo and Connie Vielmas, brother; Jeremy (Jessica) Vielmas, sister; Cristina (Kyle) Brooks, and her grandfather; Ralph Richardson. She is also survived by her wonderful nephews; Ethan Brooks, Aiden Brooks, Milo Vielmas, and Leo Vielmas.

Faith was very important to Rachel. The family invites friends to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 2:00pm at Roswell Street Baptist Church, with Pastor Michael Lewis to officiate.
