Obituary

Randall "Randy" Curtis Wagner entered his eternal home on December 11, 2024 at home following an intense and rapid decline with  Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Randy was born in Denver, Colorado to Raymond and Mary Wagner on September 1, 1949. He is survived by his son Jeremy Wagner (spouse Brette) and daughter Jessica Creaden (spouse Derek), three grandchildren, and two siblings: Larry Wagner (spouse Vee) and Vicki Lawson. Randy maintained a friendly relationship with his ex-wife, Brenda Wagner, and she was his caretaker throughout his illness until his death.

Randy's father was in the Air Force and the family lived in Newfoundland, Nebraska, Mississippi, and Texas. Randy graduated from high school in Waco, Texas and attended Bethany Nazarene College; he received his baccalaureate degree in music from Charleston Southern University. He played trombone from middle school until early in 2024. For the past 25 years he played in the orchestra at First Baptist Church Woodstock. Randy was fondly known for his word puns and light-hearted humor.

The family will be remembering his life and contributions in a private family celebration.
