Mr. Randolph John Hunt Jr., age 81, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Sunday, November 6, 2022. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 11:00am at Marietta Funeral Home with Reverend Todd Horton officiating. The burial will be immediately following the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

Randolph was born on March 20, 1941 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late R.J. and Evelyn Hunt. Upon graduation from EC Glass High School in 1959, he attended Spartanburg Jr. College for one year. In 1960 he joined the Marine Corp Reserves, serving until his honorable discharge in 1966. Following his military service, Randolph returned to Spartanburg Jr. College and completed his studies at Campbell College in North Carolina.  He moved to Marietta, Georgia in 1974 where he went into business with his uncle. Randolph joined the Northeast Cobb Jaycee's in 1977 and was a member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Sandy Springs Cleaners until his retirement in 2007 when he closed the business.

He is survived by his wife, Susanne Hunt of Marietta, Georgia, sister, Joanne (Dr. Sonny) Wall of Alabama, daughters; Atchie (Davy) Wrenn of Garden City, South Carolina, Marti (Steve) Arsenault of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, stepdaughters; Rene (Carey) Sasser of Willmington, North Carolina, Sandy (Jeff) Portis of Woodstock, Georgia, grandchildren; Amanda Daniels (Matt Keller), Randi (Matt) Brach, Ashley James (Chris Allenczy), Christopher Summers, Carson Portis, Macie Portis, Ellie Portis, Bryant Sasser, Ann Bennett Sasser, great-grandchildren; Kayleigh Daniels, Hunter Daniels, Landen Hernandez, Emery Hernandez, C.J. Summers, Olivia Allenczy, and Logan Brach.

The family will receive visitors at Marietta Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm.
