Robert Douglas Hubbard, 83, of Georgia, passed away on December 9, 2021. A funeral service will be held on December 13, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Marietta Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.

Robert served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 201.

Robert is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Ruth Hubbard, of Marietta; brother, Ray (Judy) Hubbard of Canton; nieces, Kim (Hunter) Eskew, of Cartersville, Dr. Debbie (Gary) Hubbard of Statesboro, Diana (Greg) Hubbard, of Kansas City, and Gaile Lingerfelt, of Cartersville; Nephews, Jean (Diane) Lingerfelt, of Jasper, Eddie Lingerfelt, of Ball Ground, Tommy Lingerfelt, of Kennesaw, and Steve (Cindy) Lingerfelt, and brother-in-law, James Kemp, of Acworth.
