Robert (Bob) L. Rowland of Marietta, GA, passed away at the age of 85, Tuesday December 17, 2024.

He was born January 21, 1939 in Grand Rapids Michigan to Cliff and Vera Rowland. Bob graduated from Caladonia High School. He served in the Navy for 4 years as an airman out of Naval Air Station (NSA) San Deigo, attached to patrol squadron forty-six (VP-46). While in the service, he married June (Koerner) Rowland in 1959 and they were married for 65 years until the time of his death. Bob worked as an Ad salesman For Michigan Bell Yellow Pages and was the #1 salesman for the state of Michigan in 1974. Bob went on to start his own business, Savall-Pages, which he ran until 2000, when he retired.

Bob enjoyed playing golf, RVing, playing poker and spending time with family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife, June Rowland and his sons, Greg Rowland, Scott Rowland and Bryan Rowland. His sisters; Carole Link and Rose Lappe along with 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Dad will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. I have no doubt that he is standing on the 1st tee.

Visitation will be held Friday December 20, 2024 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm followed by a memorial service from 2-3pm at Marietta Funeral home.

A Celebration of life will be held at the home of Bob and June Rowland following services.
