Robert Martin Sosebee spread his wings for his final journey on April 27, 2026, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of laughter, kindness and his love of family and friends.

Born May 2, 1952, in Marietta GA, Martin lived a life filled with a desire to be there for others and lift them with his quick wit, singing and jokes.

Martin's favorite hobby began at a very young age of being a cowboy to the years of being bedridden and watching westerns on tv. He had a deep passion also about history, older wars and Indian Heritage.

Martin was proud of his studies and subsequent graduation of watch repair.  But if he was asked I think he was most proud of all the years of government work with DCMA from which he retired.  He was a proud American.

To those he loved Martin was always there to offer a listening ear and or a joke.  He always wore a smile and had the unique ability to make anyone smile.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sosebee, Jeanette Sosebee Lee and stepdad, Bill Lee.  He leaves behind a family who adores him, wife, Angie Sosebee; daughter, Jessica Bridges (Anthony); grandsons, Xander, Korbyn and Nox; siblings, Dee Sosebee Upchurch (Mike), Jeff Sosebee (Chris) and many other loved ones.

We will gather to share stories and celebrate a life well lived on May 23, 2026, at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA 30066, 770.422.1234.  Please bring your favorite memories and join us from 1:00-3:00 to Honor Martin's memory. Followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 with Chuck Gaines officiating.  Dress is casual to business casual.
