Sergeant First Class (Retired) Timothy Scott Brumit passed away on February 11, 2023 at his home.

He graduated from Etowah High School, Woodstock, Georgia in 2001. Tim served with the U. S. Army 1/75th Ranger Battalion and the 7th Special Forces Group for over 14 years until becoming medically retired due to injuries. Tim had 8 Combat Deploys to Iraq and Afghanistan during his military service.

Tim is the father of two children, Hallie Kate, 12 and Connor 10 that he valued spending every minute he could with them. He was engaged to Rachael Mullins and they lived in Buford, Georgia.

Tim leaves behind his parents Randy and Terri Brumit, brother John Brumit, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins as well as untold numbers of dear friends across the country.

Celebration of Life Service for Timothy Brumit at Fivestones Church, 1358 Sixes Road, Holly Springs, Georgia 30114 will be held February 18, 2023 at 3:00pm with Visitation starting at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sua Sponte Foundation
