Sharon Kay
Hewatt Wise
Oct 28, 1955 — Jul 6, 2025
Sharon Kay Hewatt Wise, of Marietta, GA, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by family the morning of July 6, 2025.
Sharon was born in Marietta, GA to Randolph J. and Mamie Lee Hewatt on October 28, 1955. She graduated (early) from Sprayberry High School, Class of 1973, and married Robert M Wise, at the age of 16.
Sharon had a passion for work. After many years working for others, she launched her own financial planning firm, Wise and Associates. She then spent her final 10 working years as CFO at her son's company, GrassRoots Turf, and was named runner up for Atlanta Business Chronicle's CFO of the Year in 2020. Sharon always attributed her work ethic and skills to her big sister, Brenda.
As successful as she was, Sharon counted her children and grandchildren, and her nearly 53-year marriage, as her greatest accomplishments.
Sharon was predeceased by and is now reunited with her father, Randolph J. Hewatt, mother, Mamie Lee Hewatt, brother, James Hewatt, grandson, Carson Wise, niece, Vicki Faulk, and great-nephew, Sean Wilkinson.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert M. Wise, daughter, Amanda (Todd) Mullins, sons, Matthew (Julie) Wise and Josh (Tara) Wise, grandchildren, Abigail Mullins, Everett Wise, Annie Wise, Brody Mullins, Bryce Mullins, and Ellie Wise, Sister, Brenda (Walt) Alton, brother, Kenny (Jodi) Hewatt, sister-in-law Faye Hewatt, 6 nephews (and spouses), 3 nieces (and spouses) and a host of great nephews and nieces, and great-great ones too. Sharon was blessed with an abundance of family to love, and she did so well.
She was a generous lady and was known for her 'buy yourself some lunch' gifts as she passed out 20's on a regular basis. She was an exceptional friend as is attributed to the many friends she still has from her high school days. Her greatest love was Jesus, and because of that, we do not grieve without hope and know we will see her again.
