Shirley Davis, 80, of Monroe, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th, at 11:00 AM at 1025 Church, located at 1025 E Spring St, Monroe, GA 30655. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Corinth Christian Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Davis was a devoted member of 1025 Church and spent 30 years serving as a dedicated bus driver for DeKalb County Schools. Outside of work, she found joy in quilting, sewing, and tending to her beloved garden. She cherished the friendships she made through her church, where she was an active member of the LOL Club and the Page Turners Book Club. Above all, she loved and treasured her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Donna Shaler (David), Katie Trull (Bill), and Sheryl Helms (Rick); her grandchildren, Deborah, Darla, Kaley, Elayna, Carmen, Bradley, and Caleb; and her great-granddaughter, Valley Kate.
