Mrs. Soueng Lim - 91, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hay Kia Lim.

She is survived by her sister; her children Ching, Andy, Houi, and May; her grandchildren Wes, Louis, Jenny, Evan, Donald, Brianna, and Alisa; her great grandchildren Charlotte, Kaden, Ruby, Orion and Daniel and her nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lim was born in Laos on October 8, 1931. She married Hay Kia in Vietnam and they were happily married for 60 years. In 1980, she fled the communist regime in Laos with her family, where they spent four years as refugees in Thailand. They arrived in the metro Atlanta area in 1984, and all became United States citizens in 1993.

Mrs. Lim devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. From cooking favorite meals to spending time with her grandchildren, Mrs. Lim loved taking care of her family.

She will be missed by many.
