Steven R. Beard, 70, of Ball Ground, GA. went to be with his Lord on August 18, 2024.  Steve was born August 15, 1954 to Lafayette and Daphene Beard in Atlanta, GA.

Steve is survived by his wife Patricia Teague Beard; son, Daniel (Kelley) Reece; daughter, Miranda Callahan; grandchildren, Kaden Reece, Colby Reece, Carter Callahan, and Isaac Callahan; father-in-law, Gene E. Teague, of Marietta, GA; sisters, Peggy (Robert) Baker, of Dallas, TX, Billie Sue (Tom) Thomson, of Macon, GA; and brother, Dr. Robert Beard, of Savannah, GA.  Steve is preceded in death by his parents.

Steve retired from Auto Zone after 20 years of dedicated service.  He was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan.  He also loved water sports and taught swimming and skiing lessons in his younger years.  A service will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday, August 21 at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery.
