Sue C. Yother journeyed to her heavenly home Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Hoyt, of 57 years.  Born March 26, 1940 to Claude and Laura Mae Cox, Sue was raised in Alpharetta, Ga.  After graduating Milton High School, Sue's career as an accounting business manager spanned over four decades.

From the age of 8, the most important relationship in Sue's life was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After she and Hoyt married, they began serving at various Baptist Churches in the Atlanta area and became active members and outreach leaders at First Baptist Atlanta.  In the late 1990's they transferred their membership to First Baptist of Woodstock.

Together, they have generously supported and financially blessed many ministries and international missions. Sue spent hours everyday reading God's word. She was a mighty prayer intercessor and would always offer a word of encouragement.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 officiated by Rev. John Pope.  All arrangements are under the direction of Marietta Funeral Home.
