Susan Bezdek, 75, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the comfort of her home.

She was born in 1947 in Chester, South Carolina to Kenneth and Virginal Crawford and lived most of her life in Marietta, Georgia. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Lee Bezdek, two sons;  Steve Bezdek and Mark Bezdek, and five grandchildren;  Garrett, Asia, Jasmine, Lizzie, Beau and great grandson; Alston.

Susan loved her family and was a hard-working woman and a loving wife. She supported her husband and helped him grow his business. She also had a strong work ethic and always tried something new. She played on the bowling league, softball team, and even took belly dancing classes. Also, she made stained glass from the basement of her house. She was a master at trout fishing. Her main passion was protecting native plants, rare plants, and wildlife. That passion led her to start her nursery business, Indigo Growers.

She was a beautiful, loving wife and mother, always giving of herself to those she loved. She left this life with her husband Lee and children by her side.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am at Marietta Funeral Home. The memorial service for Mrs. Bezdek will be held immediately after the visitation.
