Susan S. Surman, known fondly as "Sue", passed away peacefully at the age of 82, on October 14, 2024, after a prolonged battle with COPD. She was surrounded by her loving family in her home in Marietta, GA, at the time of her passing.

Born on March 13, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, Sue was the daughter of Lawrence ONeal and Dorothy Morton ONeal. She graduated from William Tennent High School in 1960, and married Alan Surman, her devoted husband of 41 years, in 1967. Alan predeceased her, as did her beloved parents.
Sue kept up her spirits and was sassy until the end. She enjoyed watching game shows on TV and her favorite was "Wheel of Fortune", which she watched every night with the family.

She is survived by her children, her son Jason and wife Julie Surman of Marietta, GA, and her daughter Robyn and her husband Brad Zacharia, along with their daughters Sarah and Lily, of Bucks County, PA. She also leaves behind her sister, Karen Haimovitz, her brother-in-law Arnold Haimovitz, and their children, James and Rebecca.

Though no formal services are planned, Sue's ashes will be scattered in Ocean City, Maryland, her favorite place in the world.
