Thelma White Clark, 94, of Kennesaw, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.  A funeral service will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on Monday, September 30 at 2:00pm.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Clark was born and raised in Acworth, GA.  She graduated from Acworth High School in 1947. She then went on to have a fruitful career at Lockheed where she worked for over 40 years.   While working as a typist, she received many technical achievement awards in recognition of her exceptional computer skills.  When she wasn't working, she was busy caring for her family.  Mrs. Clark was an excellent cook, loved to garden, and always made time to play rook with her friends.  She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and enjoyed attending bible study classes throughout her life.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughters, Sheila Clark Bagwell, Joy Clark Douglas, and Gayle Clark Winkler; as well as 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, William Junior Clark; daughters, Joan Clark Hunt, and Debra Clark O'Dell; as well as 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mrs. Clark's life will have a lasting impact on her family and those who knew her.  She will be missed by all.
