Thelma "Maxine" Law, 87, of Acworth, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 14th at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park.

Ms. Law was a lifelong resident of Marietta, employed by the VA Hospital as a receptionist where she retired from in 1987.  She was a devoted member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church for 53 years.  Survived by her sons, Terry Law (Debbie), of Acworth, Tim Law (Denise) of Acworth; daughter-in-law, Connie Law of Woodstock; sisters, Marian "Cooter" Pauley of Kennesaw, Diane Moon of Waynesboro, GA; brother, R.L Martin of Woodstock; (8) grandchildren; (13) great-grandchildren and (4) great-great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray T. Law and sons, David and Dennis Law.
