Thomas (Tom) Tangel, 80, of Marietta, passed away Tuesday August 15, 2023.  Mr. Tangel held many careers throughout his lifetime but enjoyed the last several decades as a chauffeur. He was active in his community and was a long time board member of his HOA.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed working hard and talking to his many friends and clients.  He had a voracious appetite for all things funny and enjoyed sharing laughs with many. He loved a good joke and would repeat them often. Tom often held his cards close to the vest, but was fiercely loyal to those fortunate enough to be close to him. He was loved and will be missed by all.

Mr. Tangel was preceded in death by his father, John Tangel and mother, Lillian Tangel.  He is survived by his children, Jaren Sutton, Kurt Tangel and Kyle Tangel; brother, Wayne Tangel; grandchildren, Tyler Tangel, Tate Tangel, Kylie Tangel, and Troy Tangel; and nieces, Jennifer Krawczyk and Beth Craven.

The family will hold a celebration of life on Sunday November 12, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Laurel Park (big pavilion) 151 Manning Rd SW, Marietta, GA 30060.
