Obituary

Mr. Troy David Druhot, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away on June 7, 2025, in Marietta, Georgia, at the age of 56.

Born on September 11, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, Troy brought generosity and unwavering loyalty to all who knew him. A proud Ohioan at heart, he remained a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, rarely missing the opportunity to watch a game and always cheering them on with heartfelt enthusiasm.

Troy found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was happiest with sand beneath his feet, sun on his skin, the sound of waves in his ears, and his favorite music playing in the background - especially the tunes of Sister Hazel, whose lyrics often echoed his kind spirit and outlook on life. The beach was his refuge, a place where he could unwind and make lasting memories with those he loved.

He is survived by his three children, Chris (Caro), Tyler (Andrea) and Megan (Christian), who were his pride and joy, and by his three grandchildren, Evan, Krew & Joshua, who he adored. He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Kathy, cherished brother, Todd (Ferrell), and a circle of friends and family who will miss his humor, stories, and the steadfast love he gave so freely.

A visitation will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on June 14, 2025 from 11am to 1:45pm, with a service celebrating Troy's life beginning at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation in Troy's name to Lyrics for Life by visiting
