Virginia Morris, 85, of Marietta, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020.  Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley Morris and is survived by her daughter, Faye Sullivan and her husband Dennis and their two children and grandchildren, Lorien, Connor and Ava and Daniel, wife Jenny.  Daughter, Lynda Morris and her son Gavin, wife Kim.  Daughter, Jan Blackwelder and her husband Mallory and their son Bobby, wife Brittany and grandchildren, Jaxson and Robbie.  Son, Stanley Morris (Jay) and his two sons, Jesse and Dakota and daughter, Laura Morris.  Sister, Sadie Snellings and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition, to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a registered nurse and spent most of her career as the head of the Medical Department at the Cobb County Jail. Visitation will be held at the Marietta Funeral Home 915 Piedmont Road Marietta, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 10- 12.
