Wade H. Baker, 58, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

Wade was born in Summer 1963 in Columbia, SC to his surviving parents Coralee Downs Quick & Louis Baker. Wade spent his youthful years there with his surviving siblings Jeannine Taylor, Christina Rasmussen, & Matthew Marvin. Wade is additionally survived by his loving stepfather Donald Quick, step siblings Daniel & David Quick & Dr. Deborah Froyd-Quick as well as his adopted father Sam Miller.

Wade graduated from Columbia HS in Summer 1982. Wade graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College with his Associates Degree in Business. He went on from his personal construction business, Baker Home Improvements, to working as a Department Supervisor at Home Depot where he was beloved by his coworkers at both the Merchants Walk & Canton locations.

Wade is survived by his wife of 35 years Valencia Baker & their 3 children Louis Baker (wife Emilie, son Raven), Thomas Baker (wife Ansley, daughters Leighton & Johanna) & Kelly Currie (husband Maxwell, children Sawyer, Cash, Stella, & Oakley).

His greatest legacy was his love for God, his children, & his grandchildren. He gave everything he had with love & he will be forever remembered for that beautiful quality.

May Jehovah never forget Wade's good works (Hebrews 6:10). We pray to see Dad again in Paradise (Psalm 37:10&11, Isaiah 65:17-25).
