Mr. Wayne A. "Tony" Partain passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2022, surrounded by friends and family. 

 Tony was a loving husband, father and friend. He was born on April 16, 1941 in Marietta, Georgia and retired from the Cobb County School System. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed fishing with friends. 

 Tony is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Wilmoth Partain, sisters; Shirley Chamblee and Linda Hood, brothers; Ronnie Powell and Neil Powell. Survivors include his daughter; Donna (Tom) Brashier, El Paso, TX, son; Ronnie Partain, Smyrna, GA, brother; Charles (Debbie) Powell, Marietta, GA, and several nieces and nephews. 

 The family will receive visitors at Marietta Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5:00PM-8:00PM. A graveside service will be held at Mt. View Park Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1:00PM. 

 In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Tony's honor to the  Humane Society of Cobb County  .
