Willa Nell Sharp Cotton, 94, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020.  A private funeral service will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2020. Interment will follow at Mt. Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Cotton was born in McCaysville, GA before moving to Orlando, FL where she lived for 20 years.  She then returned to Marietta, GA in 1969. During her life she worked for Martin Defense Company and for the Cobb County School System, in which she retired. Ms. Cotton loved to shop and was very talented in finding a deal.  She was a faithful member of Mt. Arbor Baptist Church and was dedicated to her family and her Lord.

Ms. Cotton is survived by her sons, Ronnie Sharp, of White, GA, and Pat (Leslie) Sharp, of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Tonya (Gary) Sharp Freeman, Todd Sharp, and Tyler Sharp; step-son, Anthony (Susan) Cotton, of Welaka, FL; step-granddaughters, Rachel (Greg) Hamby, Lindsay Smith, Deanne (Timmy) Thompson, Phyllis Brown; step-grandson, Chad Cotton, Davey Brown; multiple great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; close family friend, Brenda Parker.  She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) O. Cotton; her first husband Clyde Sharp; daughter, Linda Sharp; daughter-in-law Jeanette Sharp; and all her brothers and sisters.
