William Robert Anderson of Marietta went to Heaven on June 30th at the age of 95 years old. He was born in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late William Paul and Effie Elizabeth (Grizzle) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his four daughters, Joan Norton, Barbara Nutt (Bill), Pam Cardwell (Scott) and Marilyn Anderson; grandchildren, (Joan) Jennifer Cape, Amanda Medina-White, Christopher Norton (Barbara), Karen Spain, Christy Nutt, William Nutt III, (Pam) Lindsey Judy, Jessica Wenzler and Jonathan Cardwell; great grandchildren, (Jennifer) Alexis Cape-Fowler , Vivian Cape, Jordan Cape, Norah Cape, (Amanda) Jayden Medina-Nutt, Ian Medina, (Chris) Dustin Norton, Andrew Norton, (Karen) Kaleb Spain, Kira Spain, (Christy) Nevaeh Smith, (Lindsey) Jasper, (Jessica) Cooper, and Decker; great great grandchildren, (Jayden) Liam Nutt; sisters, Betty Sue Caswell and Kathryn (Bob) Dixon along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by His wife Edna Illene Anderson, and siblings, Faye Smith, Loyace Barnes John Franklin Anderson, Charles Eugene Anderson and Billy Paul Anderson.

He felt like his family was his biggest and best achievement.

We will be honoring him by visitation service on Thursday, July 6th, 4pm - 8 pm and funeral service Friday, July 7th at 11 am, Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd. Marietta, GA 30066, followed by Burial at Georgia Memorial Park.
