Winson Nguyen, 63, of Kennesaw, passed away on October 10, 2024.

He was born in Vietnam in a family with a large number of siblings. He studied drafting at an Atlanta community college, graduated with an associate degree and went on to have a successful career at the Georgia Department of Transportation. Additionally, he co-owed Tara Nails, a nail salon with his wife, Lisa.

Winson had a passion for cooking, especially baking, and was always experimenting with new recipes to share with his family and friends. He was also known for his sense of humor and love for a good burger, with Chili's being his favorite spot to enjoy meals with his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, and his daughters, Tiffany and Kristine. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cuc.

The family will receive friends and visitors on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Marietta Funeral Home. The funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors for two hours prior to the funeral ceremony.
